We at Dial a Dog Wash aim to deliver a professional dog grooming service. All care is taken to ensure your dog is handled correctly and carefully, with the health of your pet considered. We are not responsible for any pre-existing problems or conditions found during the grooming process. We urge you to seek professional advice from your vet on dog health concerns.

Matted fur

If matted fur needs to be clipped please be aware that skin irritation may occur from shaving and occasionally small nicks may occur due to the proximity of matted fur to the skin. Dial a Dog Wash shall not be held liable for any post-grooming effects of de-matting coats, or any problems uncovered on a badly matted and neglected cost. The owner agrees to pay all costs for the dog grooming (including de-matting) even if the groomer is unable to complete the task.

Aggressive dogs

For the safety of our staff, we reserve the right to refuse to groom any dog that shows aggression. Prior to grooming, the owner agrees to inform Dial a Dog Wash if the dog has aggressive tendencies or has ever bitten. Owners will be held responsible for any bite their dog makes.


Missed appointments incur a fee of 50% of the standard grooming charge. The same applies to cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.

If you have a genuine complaint that has been received within 24 hours after grooming and fully investigated by Dial a Dog Wash, a money back guarantee will apply.
